Happy new year! We are grateful to be here with you as we welcome 2023.
I would like to acknowledge you and our entire StarVista family of staff, interns, volunteers, funders, partners, and supporters. The past few years have been incredibly challenging and filled with uncertainty, but your support has remained constant. I continue to be inspired by the ways you show up for our clients, help make our services accessible to all, and advance our growth in the county. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
As we embark on a new chapter of our lives, StarVista continues to lead with vision and purpose. Our programs and services continue to expand every year, and this year will be no different. Programs like our Community Wellness and Crisis Response Team (CWCRT) and Youth Stabilization, Opportunity, and Support (Youth SOS) team have already made a huge impact in addressing the need for in-person mental and behavioral health support. We are also already in the planning stages for our second annual Mental Health Matters Walk event in May.
The need for our services continues to rise, and we are grateful to be that agent of change. We are always thinking about what is next, and how we can fill the equity gaps in mental health throughout the county. 2023 will be a big year, and I am grateful to lead as we step into the future of StarVista.
I would also like to give a big thank you to everyone that donated to our Holiday Campaign. Your generosity transforms the lives of children, youth, adults, and families in our shared community. If you haven’t had the chance to donate, there is still time. Click here to donate.
StarVista is committed to providing a safe space and access to all those experiencing challenges. No matter what the new year brings for you, whether it is a fresh start, new routines, or even new challenges, know that we are always here for you.
