VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
STARVISTA AMBASSADOR | Discover StarVista Tours
Our mission focused tours happens once a month, and it is held virtually via Zoom. You are welcome to sign up just once as an ambassador, or as many times as you’d like.
The main role of an Ambassador is to help raise awareness about StarVista and the services we provide to the communities we serve. Ambassadors help to connect us with people in their personal and professional networks/communities who want to join us in achieving our mission of delivering high-impact services. We collectively aim to provide hope and act as a catalyst for change for those struggling with mental illness and other challenges.
As an Ambassador, you will play an integral role through connecting us with your networks by inviting 6-12 people to a 1-hour Zoom meeting at a time that works best for the Ambassador and your group. We connect with each attendee around their potential mission connection, our CEO, Sara Mitchell, shares an overview of the agency, and we share powerful client impact stories.

Peer counselors provide youth support around mental health related topics, first-stage crisis intervention, and referrals in the community. They are supervised and supported by Crisis Center staff.
