On March 31, 2022, StarVista Grant Writer and “Here & Now” Affinity Group Member, Patricia (Pat) Dalao, hosted a one-time workshop for StarVista known as “Living into your Values”. The “Here and Now” Affinity Group is a wellness and solidarity space where members within the agency can pause, reflect and help center themselves through daily group meditations and reflection.
On Tuesday, April 12, 2022, Brook Pollard, ASW, Program Manager of Clinical Services at StarVista’s Crisis Center program hosted a livestream on StarVista’s Facebook page that highlighted ways in which you can help yourself and/or a loved one when life’s stressors are present.
I am pleased to share StarVista’s Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Center has officially launched its Youth Stabilization, Opportunity, and Support (S.O.S.) Team in partnership with San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS).
