Dear Friends,
Happy Spring! I hope that this message finds you and your loved ones thriving.
In the spirit of the change that comes with Spring, I would like to invite you to join us at our “Spring into Transitions” panel discussion on Wednesday, April 10 from 6-8 pm at Burlingame High School. Previously known as “Navigating the Tides,” Spring into Transitions will feature expert panelists sharing their insights and professional experiences while offering practical tips and strategies for supporting teens in the areas of self-care, stress management, and navigating change. Register here.
I am also excited to share that our Health Ambassador Program for Youth (HAP-Y) is springing into the new season with recruitment for their next cohort. HAP-Y is a great program for youth looking to impact mental health and wellness in their communities. We had a great time hosting an informative Livestream with a couple of our ambassadors on Instagram, which you can see here. We were also grateful to host them on our Discover StarVista tour. You can see a photo of the current cohort below! Learn more about their program here.
Last, we are excited to have you join us for outdoor fun at Mental Health Matters 2024. I am excited to see everyone come together again to honor mental health awareness month and the progress we are making in addressing the needs of our shared community. You can sign up here.
Warm regards,
Sara Larios Mitchell, Ph.D., MACP
