His journey in public service began on the South San Francisco City Council and continued as he represented the county in the California State Assembly. As Speaker pro Tem, Mullin was instrumental in passing over 60 bills, many focusing on elections and democracy reform.
StarVista’s Women’s Enrichment Center: StarVista’s Women’s Enrichment Center (WEC) stands as a beacon of hope for women in recovery. Recognizing the intertwined nature of substance use and mental health issues, WEC offers an integrated treatment program tailored to the unique needs of women. The center provides a comprehensive suite of services, including individual and group therapy, family therapy, assessments, and case management.
WEC’s approach is holistic, focusing on healing from past traumas, connecting clients to their strengths and dreams, and teaching skills for a values-driven life. With Medi-Cal covering program costs, the center ensures that financial barriers do not hinder anyone’s path to recovery.
