We celebrated and honored all the people who make positive, high-impact change in San Mateo County possible – you!
September marks a very special time for us here at StarVista.
I would like to invite you to join me at StarVista’s 4th Annual Changing Lives fundraising event on Thursday, October 12 from 6-9pm at The Farallon Room at Skyline College.
We are thrilled to see all the pride throughout San Mateo County this month. StarVista and our San Mateo County Pride Center and Crisis Center programs were honored to participate in San Mateo County’s Pride Celebration, along with participating in the first SMC Pride Parade in downtown San Mateo.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about mental health and illness and to provide resources to support our communities.
Our county has been affected by many hardships and tragedies; I am grateful that our organization’s partnerships and presence throughout the county provided solace and support to those most affected.
The need for our services continues to rise, and we are grateful to be that agent of change. We are always thinking about what is next, and how we can fill the equity gaps in mental health throughout the county.
While we’ve been in operation for over five decades, this has been a year of many firsts for StarVista, and we couldn’t have done it without you – our StarVista family.
I am grateful to share that our annual holiday gift drive, Randy’s Gift Drive, is accepting in-kind toy donations again this year!
I would like to give a shout-out to our incredible Crisis Center staff and volunteers for their commitment and passion for the crisis services StarVista provides in San Mateo County.
