StarVista’s 2024 Recap

Thanks for all the cheer in 2024!

Thanks to your support, StarVista’s 2024 Recap highlights three big events that empowered, inspired, and strengthened our shared community. Together, we are helping all ages and stages navigate life’s challenges.

Spring into Transitions 2024

This year, StarVista hosted its inaugural event Spring into Transitions 2024: Empowering Teens to Navigate Change brought to you by SolMateo.

This engaging panel discussion highlighted the challenges faced by teens during transitional phases and equipped them with practical strategies for mental health, self-care, and stress management.

Spring into Transitions is modeled after StarVista’s past annual panel discussion called “Navigating the Tides.” The mission of this event remains the same – giving teens and their parents/caregivers the tools they need to navigate change.

Mental Health Matters 2024

Reflecting on the strides we’ve made and the paths we’ve journeyed, Mental Health Matters 2024: A 5k Run/Walk and Wellness Fair stands as a testament to our collective resolve to foster well-being and understanding.

Mental Health Matters 2024, with over 550 participants, was a shining example of what can be achieved when dedicated organizations join forces. StarVista, with its longstanding commitment to mental health and community support, partnered with San Mateo PAL and Stride for Awareness to host an incredible 5K Run/Walk and Wellness Fair.

As we gathered for the 5th Changing Lives event, we were reminded of the extraordinary collective effort it takes to elevate the mental health and wellness of our cherished community.

This year’s program was a tapestry of empowerment, weaving together the uplifting stories of our clients, the remarkable strides made by our initiatives, and the incredible strength we derive from our community. Together, we are crafting a future where mental health and wellness are prioritized, supported, and celebrated.
