Dear Friends,
I hope you all are in good health.
On Thursday, October 7, at 12pm, we are holding our once-a-year fundraising event, Changing Lives. This year’s event will be held virtually via Zoom and will be our biggest event of the year. This is a time to come together around our mission, to celebrate the incredible achievements of our clients and programs, and to help even more people on their journeys to vibrant mental health and more hopeful lives.
I invite you, your friends, family, colleagues and neighbors to register for Changing Lives here. If you’d like to learn more about this event, you can watch the official Changing Lives trailer here. I hope you will join me in spreading the word about Changing Lives with people in your life who share our passion for empowering individuals, inspiring hope, and strengthening communities.
There are many ways you can be part of this effort:
- Host a watch party at your home or office
- Join with friends on Zoom before the event
- Send a link for others to tune in along with a message of what StarVista means to you
- Share our event posts on social media @StarVistaSMC
Whatever you can do, our team is ready to support you and make Changing Lives the best experience it can be. Contact development@star-vista.org.
Finally, World Mental Health Day is October 10th. Display your Mental Health Matters posters and yard signs on this day and help spread awareness of our essential mental health services in San Mateo County. If you missed ordering your poster or sign during our Mental Health Matters campaign earlier this year, please download the Mental Health Matters graphic and share it on social media using #MHMattersSV and #WorldHealthDay, and tag @StarVistaSMC in your posts.
Please join me on October 7th at 12pm for an engaging virtual event you won’t want to miss. Experience the impact of our work first-hand, celebrate 55 years of changing lives, and be part of history!
Sincerely,
Sara Larios Mitchell, Ph.D., MACP
