As we draw 2021 to a close, I would like to take a moment to reflect on another historic year here at StarVista.

At 4:00pm on Friday, December 10th, a small group of StarVista supporters, staff, and friends came together at the beautiful San Mateo Garden Center to celebrate the success of our once-a-year fundraiser, Changing Lives, and to recognize the effort that each person made throughout the year to help us achieve our goal of raising sustainable, unrestricted funds for StarVista.
This toolkit is designed to help us prepare for or cope with any challenging times that may lie ahead, whether they be during times of isolation or when gathered with others.
I am delighted to share that we will hire a newly designed position of Chief Clinical Officer. I am also excited to share that we are hosting our annual gift drive throughout the months of November and December!
National Stress Awareness Day is recognized every first Wednesday in November, and as a nonprofit organization committed to supporting mental health, we would like to share helpful information from our clinicians and resources.
On Thursday, October 7, we hosted our once-a-year fundraising event, Changing Lives. This event honored our 55 Years of Service and the incredible achievements of our clients and programs since our opening in 1966.
