StarVista and SolMateo to Host Spring into Transitions 2024
San Mateo County-based nonprofit to bring back their annual teen-focused panel discussion with their community partner and long-term supporter, SolMateo!

San Carlos, CA – StarVista, a nonprofit that delivers high-impact services through counseling, case management, skill development, and crisis prevention to San Mateo County residents, is thrilled to announce the inaugural event, Spring into Transitions 2024: Empowering Teens to Navigate Change.
This engaging panel discussion aims to shed light on the challenges faced by teens during transitional phases and equip them with practical strategies for mental health, self-care, and stress management.
Spring into Transitions 2024 will host expert panelists and guest speakers that will share their insights and personal experiences. Panelists include StarVista staff Nancy Quiggle, Ph.D., Taylor Coutts, ASW, Zariah Mekile, MS, MAP, and StarVista HAP-Y Ambassador, Isabella Aganon. Guest speakers include Emcee, Christie James, iHeart Radio and Keynote Speaker, Chad Slife, San Mateo County Office of Education.

Spring into Transitions is modeled after StarVista’s past annual panel discussion called “Navigating the Tides.” The mission of this event remains the same – giving teens and their parents/caregivers the tools they need to navigate change.
Whether you’re a teen, parent, educator, or simply interested in this important topic/challenges, this event promises to provide valuable insights and actionable advice to help you and the young people in your life flourish.

StarVista is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been helping people throughout San Mateo County navigate life’s challenges for over 55 years. Our counseling, case management, skill development, and crisis prevention programs reach tens of thousands of people in our community each year.
SolMateo is a volunteer group working to support our local community with issues surrounding mental health. By raising money and awareness for organizations that provide essential services like suicide prevention hotlines, emergency housing for homelessness, and counseling services, they strive to help our neighbors obtain important resources in times of need.
