“The primary goal of Together for Families is to connect with and support families in our community who have the greatest needs yet are not connected to existing resources,” shares Nancy Quiggle, Ph.D., StarVista’s Director of Early Childhood and School-Based Services. “We are pleased that, by combining the connections, knowledge, and skills of the Child and Parent Services and the Child and Family Resource Center staff, we are able to reach more families and have the capacity to provide more comprehensive and whole-person services. Our ability to assist our community has expanded.”
Services TFF provides to families and children include individual, family and couple’s therapy. TFF also provides case management. Services are available in the family’s home, in their community, or in any of the 11 identified schools, or via telehealth.
This program is funded through the Human Services Agency and Measure K.
The TFF program is kick-starting a new virtual parenting workshop series in both English and Spanish starting today, Wednesday, February 27. This new workshop series provides parents and caregivers with resources and support to improve communication within the family and help reduce conflict.
