StarVista Partners with Macy’s Hillsdale for Holiday Client Appreciation Event
30 StarVista clients and their families were gifted a private shopping experience thanks to new partnership.
San Carlos, CA – StarVista, a nonprofit that delivers high-impact services through counseling, case management, skill development, and crisis prevention to San Mateo County residents, was able to gift its clients a unique shopping opportunity in partnership with Macy’s Hillsdale this holiday season.
This month, 30 StarVista clients and their families enjoyed a private shopping experience inside Macy’s at the Hillsdale Shopping Center. Each client received a $50 Macy’s gift card, allowing them to choose items to meet their individual needs. StarVista was grateful to be a recipient of Macy’s grant towards our Holiday Client Appreciation Event this year.
“My heart is full,” shares Irma Oliva, Manager, Business Administration at Macy’s Hillsdale. “I absolutely loved the conversations I had with the kids and as stated their excitement this is what Christmas is all about and I am glad to work for a company that supports community giveback. Thank you again for the partnership!”
One client shared, “We are so grateful for the gift cards; we couldn’t believe it, even my husband got a gift card. My 8-year-old daughter requested to pay [by] herself for her gifts using her card, she was so excited. My three daughters enjoyed shopping at Macy’s very much.” Another client expressed, “That was a once in a lifetime opportunity! [My son] said “this is amazing! My mind is exploding”…All the kids/families we saw were having a good time.”
StarVista’s Holiday Client Appreciation Event offered relief during the festive season, alleviating economic stress associated with gift purchases. This event left a lasting impact on our clients and their families, reminding them of the unwavering support they have from their community and the joy they deserve to feel during the holiday season.
