StarVista Celebrates Five Years of Platinum Certification from Candid. 

StarVista recognized for transparency in sharing our organization’s strategy, metrics, and achievements with the public.

San Carlos, CA – StarVista, a nonprofit that delivers high-impact services through counseling, case management, skill development, and crisis prevention to San Mateo County residents, is proud to announce that it has received its fifth consecutive Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid., the highest certification awarded annually by the nonprofit.  

This remarkable achievement reinforces StarVista’s unwavering commitment to transparency in reporting key operational metrics, strategies for the upcoming years and notable achievements. As a testament to its dedication to accountability and openness, this marks StarVista’s fifth consecutive year receiving the prestigious Platinum Seal of Transparency.  

Candid. is a nonprofit that provides the most comprehensive data and insights about the social sector. Recognizing nonprofits that value transparency in reporting, Candid. awards “Seals of Transparency” that rank organizations in the social sector for their transparency in reporting metrics from various areas of work.  

StarVista is a nonprofit agency that delivers high-impact services to children, youth, adults, and families in San Mateo County through our counseling, case management, skill development, and crisis prevention programs. 

As we celebrate this milestone, StarVista remains steadfast in its mission to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families in San Mateo County. The agency looks forward to continuing its work with transparency, innovation, and dedication to the community.

Privacy Policy - Terms and Conditions

  • $50 can buy art therapy supplies to help children overcome trauma.
  • $100 can buy reading and educational play materials to help low income families prepare their children for kindergarten.
  • $500 helps buy linens, cooking utensils, or text books and other necessities for a former foster youth moving into a shared apartment.
  • $1,000 helps us with the cost of providing a safe home, food, and counseling for a homeless youth
