Our thoughts are with you and your loved ones during these uncertain times.
Since the start of the shelter-in-place order, I have been committed to sending weekly updates for the last 11 weeks. I hope I was able to provide valuable insight, understanding, and awareness of how our agency has responded to the needs of the community, and how your help has made a lasting impact in the lives of your neighbors.
It has been a pleasure communicating with you on a weekly basis. I will be transitioning into sending monthly updates starting this June. As always, we will continue to provide you with regular updates in our newsroom.
I am pleased to let you know that we are looking forward to working with our staff to prepare a safe and comfortable process for returning to the workplace. We have implemented a “Return to the Workplace Planning Task Force” that we believe will make this transition smooth and safe for everyone. We plan to work within the CDC guidelines in prioritizing the safety of our staff and clients. While we are working to transition our staff, our commitment to providing all of our program services, serving our clients, and supporting our employees, remains our priority. We will continue to monitor this situation closely.
During this crisis, it has become all the more important to express how much we care about our collective well-being by showing compassion and kindness. Remember to be kind to yourself and to others as we move forward together in adapting to the evolving nature of this pandemic. I wish you all good health and safety.
Sincerely,
Sara Larios Mitchell, Ph.D., MACP
