TOGETHER FOR FAMILIES

StarVista’s Together for Families (TFF) is available to any family with a child 0-17 living in Daly City, Pacifica, Half Moon Bay, San Bruno, South San Francisco, San Mateo, Redwood City, East Menlo Park, and East Palo Alto.

Community Services

Together for Families’ Community Services are available to families in the following cities: Daly City, Pacifica, Half Moon Bay, San Bruno, South San Francisco, San Mateo, Redwood City, East Menlo Park, and East Palo Alto. The program strives to provide parents/caregivers with tools and strategies to reduce parental stress through a strength-based and short-term approach.

Range of services include:

• Individual, child, and family therapy
• Family Partner-Case Management services (skill-building, connection to resources)
• Parent education
• Parent support groups/workshops in the community

School-Based Services

Together for Families’ School-Based Services provide clinical services for children and families in the most vulnerable communities.

By placing a therapist in a K-5, K-8, or 6-8 school in Pacifica, South San Francisco, Daly City, Bayshore, San Bruno, San Mateo, Foster City, Redwood City, and East Palo Alto School Districts, StarVista can collaborate closely with school administrators and educators to identify students who would benefit from therapeutic services. We provide both short term and long-term therapy depending on the needs of the child and the family.

This program is funded through the Human Services Agency and Measure K.

Services TFF provides to families and children include individual and family therapy and case management. Services are available in the family’s home, in their community, or via telehealth.
