StarVista’s Foster Youth Education Enrichment Services provides one-on-one, strength-based case management, coaching and enrichment services to support the academic achievement of San Mateo County foster youth, from transitional kindergarten through eighth grade.
The primary goal of the program is to support academic achievement.
A holistic needs assessment is completed to determine the strengths and needs of each youth and family. StarVista then addresses the youth’s needs and provides support through collaboration with caregivers, social workers, educational liaisons, school teams, and community partners.
YOUTH ELIGIBILITY:
Referrals are received directly from Children and Family Services.
